Until 29th August 2011, Norwich Castle has the honour of hosting the first major UK solo exhibition by French artist Hubert Duprat. His sculptures and installations are made with natural materials such as ivory, gold, and flint. I'm always fascinated by artist who use natural materials, especially such precious ones as these! So I couldn't resit not going to have a look!
Below are Duprats aquatic caddis fly larvae, with cases incorporating gold, opal, and turquoise, among other materials. This is what Duprat is most famous for.
