Last week I visited the Smiths Row Gallery in Bury St Edmunds to see the Warp and Weft exhibition.
This exhibition comprises of woven textiles artists/ designers from all over . Throughout the exhibition there are extraordinary, individual approaches to yarn, construction, colour, and finishing techniques which are self-evident in the amazing woven fabrics.
I thoroughly enjoyed this exhibition being a weaver myself. It was very exciting for me to take a closer look at the work of artists I am so inspired by and thinking of ways I can inform all this inspiration into my own studio practice.
