Today I have been concentrating on creating textural fabric samples. I have been using various different light weight, fine fabric to represent the delicate, fragile, dried petals. Earlier in my research I also noticed a link between the fragile petals and lace, so within this experimenting I have aimed to incorporate my own lace like effect to the samples. To achieve these effects for the samples just required a burning flame and the rest came naturally.

Overall I'm really pleased with outcome, and the next step from here is to dye the samples and introduce colour.
