At the moment within my practical studies I am experimenting with shape memory yarns. Such a fantastic and exciting resource! Here is how it works;

This is a weaving example of Nitinol and this is how it works - it is folded to form a shape and then heated above 90 degrees (centigrade) and then returns to its original shape.
