Back in April, a few weeks ago, me and three other students from my course travelled up to London for work placement Interviews with Wallace + Sewell. A woven textiles design studio establised by Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell. They are mostly famous for there vibrant colours and stripes and checked patterned designs. There are two studios, one is in London, the other is located in Dorset.
Since the interviews I have heard back and I shall be going to the Dorset Studios for 2 weeks in July, of which I'm really looking forward to!!

At Wallace + Sewell they make sure that every piece of woven fabrics has a use, and so the scraps that are collected are made into these delightful rosets;
